You must know how to run medical equipment, such as x-rays and heart machines. For administrating inoculations you have to know how to introduce vaccines, serums, ect., into the animal. When preparing animals you have to get them ready for surgery. If you don't do that good animal may wake up. Also you have to restrain them just in case they might move. After surgery you have to cover the wound and make sure it is clean. After the animal is done and ready to go home you have to tell the owners how to take care of the animal.
